For three years straight, New Riff has won big at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, but in 2021, they swept the awards like never before, earning 10 medals, including a Double Gold—the highest-ranking—for its Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey, Bottled in Bond.
New Riff is a small, young distillery known for bucking the conventions of the whiskey category, while holding true to sacred Kentucky craft. To launch their breakout bourbon, New Riff partnered with LPK, building a brand that embodies a new riff on an old tradition.
“From day one, we could sense New Riff’s ambitious nature,” says David Volker, Sr. Creative Director and spirits design expert, who led the brand development and packaging design for New Riff. “It’s so hard for a brand to enter this particular category successfully, but New Riff has done so with such focus and dedication to their vision.
