What brought you to Geneva?

My parents moved here and I followed them.

How long have you worked at LPK?

I joined LPK about a year and a half ago.

What do you like most about working here?

I love the culture, entrepreneurial mindset and diversity at LPK. I love that we all get to be ourselves and we’re not asked to be anyone else. At LPK, we all learn from one other and are expected to drive our own success—we are listened to and supported in whatever drives us. It just feels like one big family.

What have been some of your favorite life experiences?

I’ve loved learning about and experiencing Cuban culture, and I keep making progress in my study of Afro-Cuban dancing. I adopted a dog and have sponsored many animal associations, and I recently started using products that are not tested on animals. I was also thrilled to have met with performance coach John Whitmore.

What are you most proud of?

I’m proud of being an honest and fair person who fights for her values. I’m also extremely proud of the progress my dog Micky is making as I work to train him.

What inspires you?

People who defend altruistic values and have made a difference in today’s world, like Nelson Mandela, Buddha, Aung San Suu Kyi, Gandhi, Amma, Martin Luther King and Mother Teresa. Also, my granddad. His courage and eagerness to learn have been essential to who I am today.

Any advice for those aspiring to do the work you do or work in this field?

Be open, curious, respectful, empathetic and fair!

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned in your career?

Never assume! Something that is obvious for you will not be for someone else; we all have different points of reference in this world.

Tell us five things we don’t know about you.
• I LOVE to dance and am a dance teacher
• I’m very shy
• I fight for animal rights
• I’m a dreamer
• I believe in Karma
