Nearly ¾ of commuters drive to work alone, putting a lot of empty and unused space on the road—space that could be better utilized in a sharing economy. At LPK, we’re not only committed to supporting sustainable and innovative solutions, we’re also strong advocates of the startups challenging these statistics.
That’s why we were happy to recognize the innovative thinking behind CarPal, a peer-to-peer package-delivery-service startup, at the seventh annual Cincinnati Innovates Awards with $10,000 worth of branding and design services.
CarPal uses existing infrastructure to create a cost-effective marketplace for package delivery by tapping into unused space in drivers’ commutes to work, trips to the grocery store or weekend gallivants.
“CarPal’s peer-to-peer shipping disrupts and streamlines the way we think about package delivery today,” says LPK Vice President and Managing Director of Creative Technologies Robert Remley. “We’re eager to begin our relationship with CarPal and contribute to the sharing economy.”
