LPK’s Vice President and Group Director of Trends Valerie Jacobs will be co-presenting an interactive Fashion Thinking workshop hosted by The Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia on November 7th at 5:30pm at Macy’s East Greek Hall.
Jacobs will be co-presenting alongside:
Johanna Blakley, PhD—Managing Director & Director of Research, The Norman Lear Center, University of Southern California
Natalie Nixon, PhD—Director, The Strategic Design MBA at Philadelphia University
Wendy Wurtzburger—Head Curator, Anthropologie Brands
Wurtzburger will open the event with a presentation on Anthropologie’s retail merchandising strategy and the power of story. This will be followed by Jacobs, Nixon and Blakley’s discussion on the benefits of adopting “fashion thinking” principles as a means to elevate design, improve brands and expand business by introducing new tools that help foster stronger connections between companies and their customers.
