Gillette Launches Global Campaigns in Honor of Movember

Gillette is using several different initiatives globally during the month of November to raise awareness for men’s health issues. This year, Gillette has thrown their support behind Movember—a month-long awareness campaign for prostate and testicular cancer in which clean-shaven men grow fabulous mustaches to change the face of men’s health.

In London, Gillette is launching a 1940s-style barber shop. The shop will offer “Mo Bros” free touch-ups, as well as tips on how men can tame their mustaches. Funds raised will be donated to cancer charities. In the United States, Gillette has launched a Facebook app that will create a time-lapse video of the mustaches men grow over the span of the month. For each photo uploaded, Gillette will donate one dollar to the Zero Project.
