We believe in setting the bar high and striving to make the impossible possible. When our long-time partners at United Way of Greater Cincinnati rolled out their 2012 campaign “Bold Goals,” of course we knew we were going to pitch in to help them.
Today, LPK marked the kickoff of our 2012 United Way campaign with a visit from our partners and a little lunchtime inspiration. This year’s campaign focuses on creating a stronger community and a higher quality of life for all in the education, income and health areas.
This year’s goals are bold. By 2020, United Way aims for at least 45% of adults to achieve an associate degree or higher, at least 85% of youth to be prepared to graduate from high school and at least 90% of the labor force to be gainfully employed—and that’s just to name a few.
