Another Year of Impact

Brands have the power to make a big difference.
This report captures all the ways we proved it in 2016.
We call it Design for a Difference—because “Corporate Social
Responsibility Report” is just a mouthful.

Meet the Green Team

We’re a global collective of brand-obsessed creatives and thought-leaders who share a passion for sustainability and the value it brings to brands. We put this passion to work every year, always striving to improve our company’s impact on people, communities and the environment.

Hustlin’ for the Greater Good

You can’t change the world from a desk chair. You gotta get out there, roll up your sleeves and give something back to the community.

Here are a few ways we pitched in.

All Night Long

Last October, we kicked off LPK’s annual Design Blitz—a 24-hour event focused on solving design challenges for three local nonprofits. With plenty caffeine to fuel the creative process, we delivered the goods at sunrise.

Find out what 86,400 seconds can do for a nonprofit.

Downsizing Our Footprint

We only get one planet, and we’re committed to keeping it green for generations to come.

Earth—this one’s for you.

“Get Off The Grid”

Real power doesn’t come with a plug. In an effort to reduce LPK’s footprint, we launched “Get Off The Grid”—a three-month experiment that tested the limits of solar-sufficiency in our Cincinnati headquarters. Two offices, unplugged. Still a work in progress.

Putting Passion to Work

Extraordinary work takes extraordinary people.
We’re here to empower those who make it possible—day in, day out.

Powering Passion

LPK’s Passion Pitch is an ongoing experiment designed to turn employees’ passions and ideas into a collection of purposeful company investments. Brand Director Emily Chapel put her passion to work with Biophilia—a nonprofit initiative that will disrupt the food system—for good.

Career Development

Always Getting Better

A Weekend in Music City

Last September, six LPK employees took a road trip down to Nashville, TN for the 2016 Brand New Conference—a two-day event focused on the practice of corporate and brand identity. They returned with a full tank of inspiration and insights for souvenirs.

CEO Message

Now more than ever, brands have the power to make a difference. And with power comes responsibility.

Our work isn’t just a way for businesses to win hearts and steal shares. We see it as a viable and necessary means to making positive change in the world. By continuously investing in our communities, culture and operations, we extend our impact to causes greater than our own. And we hope more brands will be inspired to do the same.

This year’s impact was just a start.
