LPK respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains what information we collect about you when you visit the LPK Websites (collectively “Website”) and how we handle such information.

This Policy is a binding agreement between LPK and you. By accessing, browsing, visiting, or in any way using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Policy and agree to all the terms and conditions contained herein. If you do not agree to any of the terms and conditions, you may not use the Website.

From time to time, we may encounter new, unanticipated uses for information not previously disclosed by the Policy. LPK reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to update and revise the Policy. You are encouraged to review the Policy from time to time to keep abreast of any material changes. Your continued use of the Website following any posted revisions constitutes your assent to such changes. Additionally, by submitting a query or information to online forms and search fields, you reiterate your agreement to this Policy. You also agree that if you use the Website after the date on which the Policy has been amended, LPK will treat your use as acceptance of the updated Policy. Nothing in this Policy shall be deemed to confer any third-party rights or benefits.

The information we collect and how we use such information depends on what you do when you visit the Website.

For all visitors, including those who visit the homepage www.lpk.com, we may collect and store non-personally identifiable information, including the name of the domain from which you access the internet, your internet protocol (IP) address, the date and time which you accessed the Website and the internet address (URL) of the website from which you linked directly to the Website. We use the information collected to measure the number of visitors to different sections of the Website, to help make the Website more useful to visitors, to help diagnose problems, to customize the content or layout of the Website for each individual visitor, and to administer the Website. At times, we may share this information with our partners, contractors and affiliates so that they too may understand how the Website users, collectively, use areas of the Website. LPK may also use such information to contact you about new Website announcements, enhancements, and general updates.

For job applicants who file a job application using the Careers link on the Website or via email, we may gather specific information about you, including personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, address, phone numbers, profile information, your cover letter, your resume, your portfolios, and any other information that you submit. Additionally, we may collect optional information about you as part of the Voluntary Equal Employment Opportunity Survey, such as your gender, your race, your military service, and your disability, if any. Once submitted, the information will be retained or destroyed in accordance with LPK’s record and document retention policies. We may share the information you submit to our partners, affiliates, sister companies, and subsidiaries who may be interested in considering you for positions similar to the ones for which you filed the job application. Except as otherwise provided in this Policy, the information you submit shall not be made available to outside third parties.

“Cookies” are files or pieces of information sent to your browser when you visit a website, and you will find them at most websites. Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies. If you prefer, you can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent so that you can flush them from your browser if you object to their presence. There are two types of cookies: persistent and non-persistent. Persistent cookies are stored on the hard drive of your computer, and remain there until they expire or you delete them. They are used to provide tailored information to a return visitor to the website by remembering what pages the visitor had viewed previously. We may use persistent cookies on the Website. Non-persistent cookies are used during a particular session, but are not stored on your computer’s hard drive when the session is over. The information is stored only temporarily and is used primarily for technical reasons such as ease of navigation. We use non-persistent cookies to enhance your visit to the Website.

We may employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf, including, but not limited to, hosting our web servers, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, and providing customer service. These companies and individuals may have access to your personal information solely for the purpose and to the extent necessary to perform their functions.

Except as otherwise agreed to by LPK, all other feedback, comments, documents, portfolios, messages, and statements that you choose to submit to LPK by any means — whether by email, telephone, letter, postings, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, social media platforms, or any other means of communication — shall be considered non-confidential and LPK is free to use such information on an unrestricted basis. Any personal information that you choose to voluntarily disclose online on discussion boards, comment areas, or chat areas, if such features are made available on the Website, now or in the future, are not protected. You are strongly urged not to post any personal information that you expect to be kept private.

The Linked Sites are not under LPK’s control, and LPK is not responsible for the content of any Linked Sites, including without limitation, the accuracy, copyright compliance, legality, or decency of the Linked Sites or any links contained therein. These links are provided for your convenience, and do not imply endorsement of the Linked Sites by LPK or any association with the operators of the Linked Sites. If you choose to send personally identifiable information to the Linked Sites, you may do so at your own and sole risk. We do not control the collection or use of information submitted to the Linked Sites and we are unable to make any representations about the privacy policies or practices of the Linked Sites. Accordingly, you agree that you will be aware of this when you leave the Website and agree to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of each other website that you visit.

We generally do not inform users of such requests for information, although we may, in our sole discretion, decide to do so in some cases.

If the Website or LPK is sold to, or merges with, another company not owned by LPK, you should expect that some or all of the information we collect and possess may be transferred to the buyer or surviving company. If so, LPK will seek to obligate the acquiring company to use any personal information transferred in a manner that is consistent with this Policy, but LPK cannot guarantee that it will be able to impose that requirement or that the acquiring company will comply.

Please note that regardless of the nature of information and the manner in which it is collected, you have no privacy whatsoever in any information which: (1) LPK can demonstrate by evidence was known to it prior to receipt thereof from you; (2) becomes publicly available other than by violation of this Policy by LPK or its representatives; (3) is determined by LPK to be necessary to enforce the Terms and Conditions of the Website or to protect other rights of LPK; (4) is determined by LPK or law enforcement officials to be necessary to protect the safety of the members of the public and users of the Website; or (5) becomes available to LPK on a non-confidential basis from a source other than you and which source, is legally entitled to disclose it.
