In a November 14, 2007 article, Design Week interviews three British candidates and their employers about working abroad. Brad Athay, originally from Britain, moved to Geneva, Switzerland for his current position as a brand account leader for LPK and discusses how the company made his transition as seamless as possible. LPKs EVP chief strategy officer John Recker visited Athay in London and arranged for him to spend a few days at the Geneva office before taking the position. Anne Visnic, LPKs global human resources strategist, coordinated all the bureaucratic necessities and acclimated Athay to the companys culture by sending him to the agencys Cincinnati headquarters for orientation.
