I certainly use TweetDeck quite a bit more than twitter.com. It's been interesting to see Twitter's attempts to win folks back (lord knows they gave others quite a head start). The Apple integration has to help with that and for my money the mobile app is a pretty good experience. All that said, I wonder how many users even engage with the trending topics on a regular basis. Have to think they will continue to experiment with deeper integration into our timelines, At some point, I wouldn't blame them. Joanne, Agree re: Twitter and outside-party apps. Comment on Three-and-a-Half Things I Learned at The Brandery’s Demo Day by JoanneMaly http://www.lpk.com/2011/10/three-and-a-half-things-i-learned-at-the-brandery%e2%80%99s-demo-day/#comment-4 JoanneMaly Wed, 26 Oct 2011 20:34:41 +0000 http://www.lpk.com/?p=6519#comment-4 Michael, spot-on observations about yesterdays #demoday presentations at The Brandery's event. There were definitely eight creative concepts presented by eight well-prepared, innovative entrepreneurs. All demonstrated that if you have courage, drive, intelligence and creativity, you can possibly 'change the world.' Another learning for me was the fun, catchy company names that these entrepreneurs had decided to give their products: Choremonster, Keepio, Leap, Receet, Rentshare, Roadtrippers, Spaciety, Stylezen. And - while I am a fan of Twitter as a key business and research tool as well, from the standpoint of the platform being a revenue generator, I would love to have asked Adam Bain how Twitter management tools (e.g., TweetDeck and HootSuite) impact Twitter's potential for 'eyeball' user traffic and potential click-through's for the promoted Trending Topics, etc. My guess is that the 'trended' habit for a bulk of today's Twitter users is to 'not' visit the actual Twitter site and Twitter pages that frequently. Your thoughts? Thanks for the post. Michael, spot-on observations about yesterdays #demoday presentations at The Brandery’s event. There were definitely
